Hartlepool Borough Council has congratulated students across the town receiving their post-16 qualification results on 13 August 2026.

The results cover AS levels, A Levels, T Levels, vocational and technical qualifications.

Council Chair's Message

Councillor Jim Lindridge, Chair of Hartlepool Borough Council's Children's Services Committee, said: "Today is an important milestone for many young people across Hartlepool, and I would like to congratulate everyone receiving their AS, A Level, T Level, vocational, technical and other post-16 qualification results."

Councillor Lindridge added that the results represent "the culmination of a lot of hard work and commitment" and encouraged students to feel proud regardless of their outcomes.

Next Steps for Students

The council noted that students will now pursue various pathways, including university, further education, apprenticeships and employment.

Recognition for Schools and Families

Councillor Lindridge also recognised the contribution of Hartlepool's sixth forms and further education colleges, as well as parents, guardians and families in supporting students to achieve their results.
