The Big Lime Triathlon is returning to Hartlepool on Sunday 9 August, with organisers urging both competitors and volunteer marshals to sign up.
The event, organised by Wild Deer Events and supported by Hartlepool Borough Council, starts and ends at Hartlepool marina and takes in Seaton Carew. A range of events has been designed to suit competitors of all ages and abilities.
Who Can Take Part
Places are available for seasoned triathletes, first-time competitors, and those keen to support the action. Every competitor will receive a medal, event merchandise, a snack and a drink on the day.
Organisers are encouraging anyone interested in taking part to secure entry as soon as possible, as places remain limited.
Volunteer Marshals Needed
Volunteer marshals play a vital role in ensuring the safe and smooth running of the event, assisting competitors and spectators at key points across the course.
Marshals of all ages are welcome, although anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. They will be required from 6.15am until approximately 11.30am. Volunteers will receive a thank you gift for their support.
