Hartlepool's Highlight Active Wellbeing Hub will host its official opening celebration on Saturday 15 August from 11am to 5pm. The free public event at The Waterfront in Hartlepool marina will feature live entertainment, family activities and water-based displays.
The multi-million pound facility, which replaced the former Mill House Leisure Centre, has already welcomed 82,235 visits since opening to customers in June.
Facilities and Services
Highlight offers sport, fitness and leisure facilities alongside NHS consultation rooms. University Hospitals Tees delivers NHS clinics from the hub through a partnership with Hartlepool Borough Council, making healthcare services available at the waterfront location.
Funding and Support
The facility has been funded by Hartlepool Borough Council, Tees Valley Combined Authority and Sport England.

It is a fantastic facility which reflects our ambition for the town, supports healthier and more active lifestyles and provides a welcoming space where families, friends and communities can come together."
